Key features of Ugandan safaris will include Mountain Gorilla trekking, game viewing, boating and water sports, fishing, hiking and mountain climbing. Primate viewing is exceptional with around 19 species recorded including chimpanzees. Big game viewing is very good in Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth, Kidepo and Lake Mburo National Parks, whilst the Ruwenzori ‘Mountains of the Moon’, and Mount Elgon provide some spectacular mountain trekking to see gorillas in their natural habitat. Uganda is also an incredible birding destination, with well over 1000 species found, including the rare shoebill and many Albertine Rift endemics.
Kenya: Kenya is the home of photo safaris through the 19 national parks and game reserves. Adventure and relaxation can be achieved via one of our safaris into Kenya.
